Judy's News:

Studio work:

Madison McKenzie has been in the studio with veteran producer Bob Bullock. I have had a blast doing vocal production for her and working with Bob. Great tracks and vocals... this project is very exciting.

I worked with producer Roger Ryan to finish up Maria Sarah's project. This project has huge potential for major market level success.

I also had the great pleasure of doing some vocal production for Molly Porter, also produced by Roger Ryan.

At Jay's place, with producer Jay Verne, I produced some vocals for Prinwall Entertainment clients Tyler Secrest and Ana DeLessio.

Performance:

Judy Rodman and 6Play want to thank the amazing audience for the success of our showcase! Our manager Jim Recor saw three standing ovations... one at the beginning of the show, one in the middle and one at the end.
We have videos, shot by our friend Jack Zander, from the showcase uploaded on YouTube at the following links:
We got three standing ovations... one at the start, one in the middle, one at the end... and a fantastic review from Dave Carew of Nashville Underground. It was a SO much fun!

Our audience! xoxo!!

Me with John ... so good to be back at it together!
And...
all JR&6Play photos in this newsletter taken by Pete Rodman

It was time for the Jerry Foster Birthday Bash again...a ton of people played acoustic rounds; I had a wonderful time playing with Karen Wheeler, Joe Rucker and Stan Hitchcock, though I've gotten spoiled and missed John's drums:) I sang three songs Jerry and I wrote for Warner Chappell years ago... video here.

I also sang at Marty Foley's big birthday bash. Marty's wife Ginny makes everything at Jerry Foster shows run like quicksilver. Good times with good friends!

Seminars, workshops:

Me and Vinny Ribas at the videotaping of my presentation

Indie Connect videotaped me doing a presentation on studio singing for the Virtual Music Conference and Expo mentioned earlier. I personally look forward to hearing the other experts lined up on all kinds of topics- not to mention the plethora of other things to see, hear and do at the three day event.

Once again I got to work with voice teacher Marianne Prinkey, acting coach/manager Susan Walls and their great students and clients for Prinwall Entertainment in Tampa, Fla. While there plied me with homemade spaghetti - what's not to love?

Interviews:

Thanks to Cathy Whitten who interviewed me for KSSL in Slaton, Tx. It was awesome to see Cathy at our showcase in Nashville!
