News From Judy's Clients:

Molly Porter has finally released her traditional gospel medley and video.. I am so proud of her (she is as beautiful inside as she is outside and vocally) - and the production Roger Ryan did on this is just sooo classy (but of course!). Choir rocks, too:)

Happy Skylar holding her winner's prize
10 year old Skylar Cain won winner of the Kentucky State Finals for the Texaco Country Showdown last Friday night.  .. Skylar is the youngest contestant to ever win a state competition or to ever compete at the regional level of the Texaco Showdown. Next is the regional contest, to be held in November. Check out her recent cover of "Wanted: Dead or Alive"!

Young dynamo Kelsey Klingensmith has released a fantastic music video of her single 'Blue Jean Girl", produced by Jimmy Nichols. It was wonderful to do a vocal lesson with her this month in between tours.

                                       Me and Jenni
Singer/songwriter/national keynote public speaker/book author Jenni Schaefer did a book signing tour for her 3rd book, and I got to see her in Nashville! She packed the bookstore for 'Almost Anorexic" which she co-wrote with Dr. Jennifer Thomas. I could not have been prouder of her, and I highly recommend the book (and her CD)!

Kelsie May brought the house down with her anthem 'Highway 23" at the MAC during the "Road To Fame" competition.

Diva/sax player Melody DeForge played Puckett's with full band in Franklin Tn. A must see artist!

'The Voice' finalist Adley Stump opened for Vince Gill in Chicago!

                                        Ali and band
'Indie-pop-folk-rock' artist Ali Sperry, home from her recent tour, played several venues including The Stone Fox and the Five Spot (video here) with her band 'The Family Vacation".

10year old Jordan Futch wowed the crowd at Temple Theater with her Loretta Lynn and Keith Whitley covers and an original we wrote. Jordan is getting ready for a very exciting original song studio project- can't wait!

                            KAATO onstage
Australian star rocker "KAATO" has released a very cool video for his single 'Nothing To Me'.  He also blew us away at his full band show at Nashville's Mercy Lounge. An analog, organic rock lover who sometimes dabbles in graveyard rock, this kid is a drummer, guitarist and has a range that goes for days... what a pleasure to work with him.

Jonathan Masters has been selected for the upcoming television series "The Upbeat Dancer Show" as the male singer who will represent country music on the multi-genre series. The show's format is being compared to "American Bandstand" and will air in the Florida market. Congratulations, Jonathan!!

Judy's News:

Studio work:

Manager Susan Walls was in town with PrinWall Entertainment clients. The company is based in Tampa, Fla. At PrinWall's veteran vocal coach Marianne Prinkey's request (I love her), I gave several of their clients vocal lessons and reported my findings back to her, and produced vocals on Danielle Pacifico and Tyler Secrest at Jay's Place. Studio.

I produced vocals for PCG client Megan Fowler, another very busy singer/songwriter/performer in a home studio. Amazing the quality you can get from economical recording when you get the vocal right!

Once again I happily joined the team of producer and songwriter Tom Paden. I produced vocals and sang bgvs for his client Gretchen Roth.

I produced vocals for producer/engineer Dick McVey and his client Andrea Price

We sort of christened the vocal mic of the new studio at PCG headquarters as I produced Cassandra Russell's vocals with Chuck Moore engineering. Congratulations to Chuck, formerly instructor, curriculum developer and campus director at SAE Institute, has now been named Director of Operations at PCG !

Performance:
