Judy's News:

Studio work:

I did vocal production for Shae Williams at Roger Ryan's studio. She has an amazing rich resonance and passion.. great fun to work with!

I also did vocal production for Demi Downing with Bob Bullock in his incredible "Dream Room". Thom Flora and I later supplied background vocals.

Engineer/ producer Sarah Emily Parish  called me to do
some bgvs at Sound Emporium studio, which has been remodeled since I recorded my 3rd album with producer Garth Fundus. Fun to sing again in the space of so many great musical memories.

Performance:

John and I have started an informal video performance series of songs we'll be playing in Judy Rodman &6Play. We call the series simply 'the worktapes'. We chat about the songs and then play them...just drums, keys and lead vocal... in our music room.

A video snapshot...Are we having fun yet? Oh yeah!

Episodes so far:
Please view and consider leaving a comment... thanks!

Songwriting:

My husband John and I wrote another song for JR&6Play called "Something Bad".

Seminars, presentations, workshops:

Congratulations to Indie Connect for the success of holding their first global Virtual Music Conference! I gave a presentation and had two booths there, one for my work with voices ("All Things Vocal") and one for JR & 6Play. I got a lot of good comments and met some new people with whom I will work.

If you attended this online three day event, please give me your feedback so I can share it at our upcoming board meeting.
