Kelsey Klingensmith had a great trip to Nashville and got a lot done... played writer's nights, made important connections, co-wrote songs, she's a whirlwind. And... she's put together her an anti-bullying video to her song "I Am Somebody".,

Sweetwater Rose played at the "Basement" in Nashville... it was good to see the reconfigured group. They have great harmony, tight vocals and are very comfortable with their audience interactions.

Congratulations to Leslie Martin (of Winfield's Locket) and Jason Heinke on their marriage! A sweeter couple can't be found. And they started it off with a honeymoon in Hawaii! (Back to work now, guys! hahaha)

Tom Paden and my production client Cole Armour played the Ellen DeGeneres show... not bad for a 12 year old!

My old friend from MTM Records days Becky Hobbs got a Grammy nomination for her Nanyehi project! You go girl!

Among other shows, my brother Billy Devereaux played BB Kings with his band... and gave me a guest spot singing a song I co-wrote with my son. a rocking time was had by all!

Judy's News

Seminars, workshops:

My Tampa, Fla vocal seminar was a complete pleasure. Vocal coach Marianne Prinkey and Susan Craig of Prinwall Entertainment welcomed me warmly as did their precious clients and students. Thanks to all of them for such a productive and sweet weekend!

Studio work:

I was back in the studio with the sister duo Jenny and Ashley, who are writing some stellar material as they are growing up as artists. It was a pleasure to work with the production team at Tin Ear Studio.

Songwriting:

Some of my co-writers these two months were Tiffany Hasiker and Billy Devereaux.

Performance:

The Benefit for Dance Theatre of Tennessee which I played with Winfield's Locket (Leslie and Brooke Martin) and Robert Gay was an absolutely magical event, with multiple arts being shown together for an intimate, entranced audience.
Besides our songwriter rounds, Photographer  Martin O'Connor  had some of his incredible work on display; and DTT Dancers gave us an up close and personal view of dance vignettes. You normally don't get to see masterful ballet this close. We were all mesmerized. Here are some pics of dancers and singers...

I played the Jerry Foster birthday bash again with a bunch of other artists at the Commodore. Always a blast.

I guested on David Lowry's "Life From Music City" radio show. My fellow guest rock guitarist Rob Balducci and I critiqued several artists' singles David played for us... you can hear the broadcast here.
