My vocal and production client and friend Jenni Schaefer was once again featured on the Dr. Phil Show. This time she got a lot of airtime and they gave everyone in the audience a copy of her new book! Go Jenni!
Emil Bishaw's pop project is now finished... mixed and mastered and on it's way to great places. I am thrilled with the way it turned out, and with Masterfonics' Tommy Dorsey's great mastering work and attention to this project. Thanks Tommy! News flash... they barely have the mastered cuts in hand and several radio stations have ALREADY signed on to playing the first single...
My vocal student and production client, Christian contemporary singer Christa DeJarnett, has signed a record deal! She has a fabulous management company-the Lowry Agency, and she's in a very good place to share her message. High fives to ya, dear Christa!
My brother, stage name Billy Devereaux, has had a song cut on Tammy Tidwell, who is being produced by country star Aaron Tippin! Congrats, little bro- your song cut...
Also... check out Billy's first video on "The Painted Desert"... Yes, he's the singer. I produced it at Ronny Light's studio; it was written by our father when we were children. Please help him out with a comment at the video site.
Darby Haas got married to Dan Stigall this month! The pictures were on a beach and the day looked absolutely perfect.Congratulations dear Darby and Dan- may you always put first things first...

My young Canadian student Michelle Woodhouse got featured in the Music Competition Network's newsletter this month.
My Texas student Kaley Caperton won the both the Songwriter and the Horizon Award at the M.A.C.T Awards (Middle Association of Central Texas)! YAAAAY!

I did my presentation at Indie Connect this month: "Getting your best recorded vocals". This was a Saturday morning meeting, which they are making available for those who can't make the weekday meetings. Check the online site for listings of meetings and subjects to be discussed.

I'm co-writing with South African singer/songwriter John Farndell towards his inspired Christian project. First time in this part of the world, John and his wife have been learning, among other things, how to drive on the right side of the road! I'm very excited about the material God is sending... to be continued...

I did a 45 min interview with internet radio show host "Bert" on MusicToGoUSA (Neon Productions). This show has about a 1/4 million listeners, and played my Jerry Foster songwriter round live last weekend. I'm not sure when the interview will air, but they're rotating several of my old records (thanks!) Here is a picture taken at the songwriter evening I did for the station with Jerry Foster and Jim Weatherly.
